What are the Different Types of Tile?

We carry several different types of tile including porcelain, ceramic, and stone options.

Porcelain and ceramic are made from the same materials and are both common options for residential and commercial use. Porcelain is different from ceramic in terms of density, because it is fired at a higher temperature it is denser and more resistant to heat and moisture. Tile is popular because it is available in a wide variety of shapes, colors, sizes, styles, and patterns for you to choose from. We carry natural stone options as well. One of the benefits of stone tile is each slab features a unique look and can be sealed to be stain proof and waterproof.

We also have other tile options including wall and backsplash tile. Wall or backsplash can be made from a combination of tile, glass, and metal, to create a more dimensional look, and can make a long wall more visually appealing. You can install wall tile anywhere in your home, including a kitchen or bathroom.
