Laminate flooring is becoming increasingly popular due to its winning combination of beauty and durability

Laminate flooring is a system of interlocking tongue and grooves that floats atop an existing subfloor, which may be a new wood sub floor, concrete, existing vinyl, hardwood, or other type of floor. The laminate floor is not nailed to the existing subfloor or floor, thus it is a "floating floor", the planks are then held together by a special water-resistant glue.

Laminate flooring is extremely durable making it ideal for kitchens, family rooms and even bathrooms. It is so durable it is becoming more poplar in commercial use. Laminate flooring is available in a wide range of patterns and wood grains, and resists fading.
